In Latgale and Selija, the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre has issued a yellow warning due to expected heavy snowfall and an orange warning for very severe icing.
The sky will be mostly overcast, with the sun peeking out only in Kurzeme.
At night, a weak to moderate northeast wind will blow, and the air temperature will range from +1 to -4 degrees. During the day, a light wind is expected, with temperatures warming up to -2 to +3 degrees.
In Riga on Thursday, the sky will be overcast, snow will fall, a light wind will blow, and the air temperature will remain around zero.
