The main Christmas tree in Riga at the Town Hall Square will shine on Saturday, November 29, at 16:00, the Riga City Council's External Communication Department informed LETA.
The festive atmosphere at the event will be created by "Brīnumskapis", Tuta, and Lisa, who will perform popular songs from the show "Tutas lietas" together with children.
The audience will also be delighted by the vocal ensemble of children and youth "Kolibri" from the Small Guild.
On Friday, the large tree in Dome Square will shine for the first time in the pre-Christmas period, and simultaneously, the facade of the Dome Cathedral will be illuminated.
As previously reported, the main Christmas trees of Riga are 35 years old and reach a height of up to 21 meters.
