For the first time, the ambulance service participates - today in Riga - the dress rehearsal of the military parade

Today at 18:00, a dress rehearsal of the military parade dedicated to the 107th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia will take place on the 11th November embankment in Riga, the National Armed Forces (NAF) reported.

The parade on November 18 will be commanded by the commander of the National Armed Forces Training Command, Rector of the National Defense Academy Colonel Maris Utinans, while the parade will be reviewed by the Commander-in-Chief of the National Armed Forces President Edgars Rinkēvičs, Minister of Defense Andris Sprūds, and Commander of the National Armed Forces Major General Kaspars Pūce.

The National Armed Forces will be represented at the parade by cadets from the National Defense Academy, personnel from the Headquarters Battalion, Navy, Air Force, Support Command, 1st Riga, 2nd Vidzeme, 3rd Latgale, and 4th Kurzeme Brigades of the National Guard, the Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Land Forces, and soldiers from the State Defense Service.

Units of allies stationed in Latvia as part of the NATO multinational brigade, as well as representatives from other alliance countries, will also march along the embankment with their flags.

The parade will feature units from the State Police, State Border Guard, State Fire and Rescue Service, and for the first time - the Emergency Medical Service.

If weather conditions are favorable for flying, aircraft and helicopters from the National Armed Forces and allies will fly over the center of the capital during the parade on November 18.
