Inflation has reached its peak. Economist reassured...

Life will become more expensive, but not as rapidly.

Economist Dainis Gashpuitis suggested in an interview with TV-24 that inflation in Latvia has reached its peak, which can be explained by the rise in food prices and wage increases.

According to the expert, the rate of inflation growth will be more moderate in the future - within 2%. The growth of inflation will be influenced not by food prices, but by the increase in service costs - for example, the rise in heating costs in Riga and other utility services.
