This morning around 7 a.m., an accident occurred on the main water pipeline in Bolderāja, opposite Gaigalā Street, 25, resulting in part of Bolderāja and Daugavgrīva being left without water supply, reports LETA.
As reported by SIA "Rīgas ūdens", in some places there is no water at all, while in others there is reduced pressure and water turbidity.
It is preliminarily planned that the water supply will be restored by the end of the working day. Until then, water will be delivered by tank trucks with drinking water. One of them is located at Bružu Street, 6.
The accident on the water supply occurred during soil compaction work near the water pipeline during the construction of the mobility point "Bolderāja". The backup main water pipeline was shut down for the duration of these works.
