Details of the last weeks of actress Alice Pesotskaya's life have emerged. The star of the film "What Men Talk About" passed away on June 3 at the age of 54 after a rapidly progressing cancer.

The news of Alice Pesotskaya's death became known only a few days after the tragedy. The actress, familiar to audiences from the film "What Men Talk About" and a number of other projects, passed away on June 3 at the age of 54.

According to a close friend of the actress, a serious illness was diagnosed only recently. In mid-April, Pesotskaya was hospitalized, and after examination, doctors diagnosed her with cancer.

"On April 12, she was taken to the hospital, where cancer was diagnosed; after that, she was transferred by ambulance, operated on, and discharged home on May 12, her birthday," said the actress's close friend Anna Alexeeva.

However, the improvement turned out to be temporary. Just a few days later, Pesotskaya's condition worsened again, and she required re-hospitalization.

"They are taking her again to the Lobnya hospital; there is a long wait for transfer to the hospital where she had her operation," the agency's interlocutor reported.

"Bitter, painful, unfair, I am angry at her, at myself. I will no longer be able to call her in Tushino and chat for hours about nothing and everything, laugh, argue, hang up, reminisce... She was bright, talented, witty, smart, curious, beautiful! Only she could pull me out of destructive thoughts and feelings, give me a good shake, praise me, put me on a pedestal. She also knew how to give me a good kick with words, to poke and hurt me. She would jump into battle for me if she thought I was being hurt," Anna noted.

According to her, on the day of the actress's death, a priest came to her, who performed the sacrament of anointing and communion. A few hours later, Alice Pesotskaya was gone.

"She really wanted to live and was determined to fight. But, unfortunately, she turned to doctors very late," the friend noted.

According to available information, the disease developed extremely aggressively, and metastases had spread to the internal organs.

Alice Pesotskaya began acting in the late 1980s. Although her filmography was relatively small, audiences especially remembered her role as the lady with a dog in the popular comedy "What Men Talk About."

Colleagues and fans remember Alice Pesotskaya as a talented and bright actress who hoped until the end to defeat the disease. Her story serves as yet another reminder of how important timely diagnosis and consulting doctors are at the first alarming symptoms.
