"I started to look at my parents differently."
At the premiere of the film "My Dog is an Astronaut," actor Kirill Zaitsev appeared with his wife and seven-year-old son Igor. On the red carpet, the artist did not hide that the theme of family is currently one of the most important for him.
Speaking about the changes after the birth of his child, Zaitsev admitted that this experience completely transformed his perception of life. "My wife completely changed my life. She gave birth to my son. It changes everything completely," the actor noted.
The main realization, according to him, came during the process of fatherhood. "I started to look at my parents differently. I understood what they had to go through with me. Before that, you always think: there are the ancestors... But when you become a father, you think: wow, they tolerated me like this. They didn’t sleep at night with me, they put up with me, and they went through all of this," Zaitsev shared.
The actor added that the theme of relationships between parents and children is also reflected in the film itself. "By the way, our film is about this too. It addresses teenage issues," he emphasized.
