NYP: tourist stung 100 times by wild bees on Lookout Mountain in the U.S.
A tourist who set out to conquer a mountain in the U.S. was stung 100 times by wild bees and ended up in the hospital. This was reported by The New York Post (NYP).
On April 4, the traveler ascended the Lookout Mountain range in Arizona. However, he was unable to descend the mountain on his own, having received about 100 stings from 'killer bees' that are common in the area. The man contacted emergency services.
Rescuers who arrived at the scene found the victim in critical condition. The tourist was airlifted to the base of the mountain, where he was met by paramedics. He is currently recovering.
