Endocrinologist: eggs contain all the amino acids needed by cells.
Endocrinologist Margarita Belousova spoke about the essential beneficial substances contained in eggs.
The doctor explained that eggs contain many nutrients necessary for the body. "For example, their protein contains all nine essential amino acids that the body cannot produce on its own, but are necessary for building and renewing cells," noted the endocrinologist.
She added that eggs also contain many vitamins: vitamin A, which is important for skin and vision; vitamin B, necessary for the nervous system; vitamin E, which protects cells from damage by free radicals; and vitamin D — which is essential for the immune system.
In addition, eggs contain important trace elements: choline, selenium, zinc, and iron. As the doctor explained, they are needed for the functioning of the brain, immune system, and blood formation.
