The legendary 90s singer Linda candidly spoke about her dramatic breakup with Maxim Fadeev, revealing unexpected and serious reasons behind their separation.
The iconic 90s singer Linda, known by her real name Svetlana Geyman, shocked the public by revealing incredible allegations of harassment that, according to her, were made against her by producer Maxim Fadeev during their fruitful collaboration. In an interview with the program "Caution: Sobchak," the 48-year-old artist openly stated that it was Fadeev who initiated the termination of their creative partnership. Linda recalls that the producer suddenly disappeared from sight after the financial crisis of 1998 deprived her father, banker Lev Geyman, of the ability to continue funding their ambitious project. However, after some time, Fadeev did appear and explained his mysterious disappearance to Lev Geyman in a rather unexpected manner: "He came to my father and said: your daughter is harassing me. And I have a family, a child, poor health — do something." The singer categorically denied these statements, calling the harassment allegations a blatant lie.
It is noteworthy that even before the final break with Fadeev, Linda had the chance to sign a contract with the influential American label BMG. However, feeling a sense of duty and seeing health problems with her producer, she turned down such an enticing offer.

Ongoing Conflict
Despite the years that have passed, the conflict between Linda and Fadeev remains unresolved. Moreover, the producer has even gone to court, accusing his former protégé of illegally performing songs at concerts, the authorship of which belongs to him. Nevertheless, the singer maintains hope for a peaceful resolution of the situation, expressing confidence: "In our situation, a simple human conversation would be wiser."
