Volkova insists on her right to see her grandchildren.
The 52-year-old actress shared that she has a complicated relationship with her son-in-law, the husband of her eldest daughter Valeria from her first marriage. For this reason, Ekaterina hardly sees her grandchildren.
In an interview with the media, the actress revealed that she is trying to reconcile with her daughter and her family. It should be noted that Valeria, Ekaterina's eldest daughter, has two children — a three-year-old son Timofey and a daughter Vasilisa, who will turn one in June.
"We are currently taking a break. I don’t want to say anything to make the situation worse because I am very upset. We somehow want to agree so that the grandchildren can still see me. And in general, I would like to improve my relationship with my daughter. But also with my son-in-law, probably, if he comes and just talks man-to-man. We just have a misunderstanding that is growing like a snowball. We just need to meet and talk. In general, talking to each other is very helpful," Ekaterina shared with KP.RU.
Additionally, Ekaterina previously mentioned that due to her complicated relationship with her son-in-law, she does not see her grandchildren.
"Once I was blocked for three weeks. The next time it will be escalating. I am working with a psychologist... I am in a terrible state. I do not see either my daughter or my beloved grandson, who also wants to see me. We have already agreed, but the children are being deceived..." Volkova previously said.
Valeria is Ekaterina's daughter from her first husband Alexei. The actress also has two children from her marriage to Eduard Limонов — 19-year-old Bogdan and 18-year-old Alexandra.
