Today, the court in Moscow will consider the issue of dividing the joint property of Timma and Sedokova

Today at 14:30 in Moscow, a court hearing will take place regarding the division of the jointly acquired property of the late basketball player Janis Timma and singer Anna Sedokova, reported the family's lawyer Margarita Gavrilova to the LETA agency.

The lawyer explained that the essence of the claim is to divide the property acquired during the marriage.

According to Gavrilova, the court plans to establish the amount of funds in Sedokova's bank accounts, her deposits, shares in capital, and other assets, as well as to consider the issue of real estate that was registered in Sedokova's name during the marriage and subsequently alienated without transferring a share to Timma.

Timma's share in the specified real estate is currently the subject of a legal dispute, Gavrilova reported.

On February 17, the lawyer announced on her Instagram profile that the first court hearing is scheduled for March 2 at the Khoroshevsky District Court in Moscow.

It was previously reported that basketball player Timma passed away in Moscow on December 17, 2024.

Media outlets reported that the body of the 32-year-old athlete was found in the entrance of a residential building in central Moscow. He took his own life.

In October 2024, Timma decided to continue his career by participating in a tournament organized by the Russian betting company "Liga Stavok," representing the team "Alikson."

Timma played 68 matches for the Latvia national team.
