Nika Belotserkovskaya announced on her Telegram channel that she managed to regain the French villa, which was previously put up for auction due to debt obligations. According to her, the property was removed from the auction just a few hours before it began.
"I must disappoint the jubilant. At the last moment, I managed to pull my house from the auction. It's mine again, and we will negotiate further," she wrote, accompanying the post with a photograph.
In the comments, Belotserkovskaya hinted that the reason for her financial situation was her “ex,” likely referring to her former husband, entrepreneur Boris Belotserkovsky.
Earlier in January, it became known that the mansion on the French Riviera was put up for sale with a starting price of around 8 million euros. Later, journalist Bozhena Rynska claimed that the house was allegedly sold for 13 million euros as part of a forced procedure at the request of the creditor — Barclays Bank.
The Telegram channel "Adolfino Berlusconi" claims that the funds to buy back Belotserkovskaya's villa were allegedly provided by entrepreneur Yevgeny Chichvarkin. According to the source, the amount may be around 13 million euros. No official confirmations of this information have been provided.
The villa is located in the commune of Cap-d'Ail in Provence, near Monaco. The house was purchased in the early 2000s. After the divorce in 2017, Belotserkovskaya continued to live in France and developed a culinary project, Belonika & Les Chefs, based at the villa.
In 2023, Nika Belotserkovskaya was sentenced in absentia in Russia to nine years in prison for spreading false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. She resides abroad and has previously publicly spoken out against the special military operation.
As of now, no official documents confirming the removal of the villa from the auction are publicly available.
