Royal expert Duncan Larkomb stated in an interview with Mirror US that the royal family is experiencing one of its most serious crises since the death of Princess Diana. The situation is related to the disgraced Prince Andrew and his scandalous connection with Jeffrey Epstein.
According to Larkomb, Meghan Markle is aware of how upset her husband Prince Harry is and understands the difficult position of the royal family. The expert notes that the Duchess is likely relieved that Harry is not getting involved, fearing accusations of complicity. "I’m sure she’s telling him, 'Don’t get involved, the royal family is in crisis, don’t drag us into this,'" Larkomb told Mirror US.
The situation is exacerbated by pressure on Prince Andrew. Former UK Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Sir Vince Cable, has called for an investigation into the Duke of York's activities as a trade representative from 2001 to 2011 for possible corruption. According to emails released as part of the Epstein investigation, Andrew shared reports of official visits to Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore with financiers.
