Former Victoria’s Secret head sold Epstein the New York mansion for $20.
American financier-pedophile Jeffrey Epstein purchased the scandalous New York mansion in 1993 for just $20. This was reported by the media following a review of documents previously released by the U.S. Department of Justice.
The mansion is a seven-story building located on East 71st Street. The building contains about 40 rooms, including 10 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms. Its actual value was in the tens of millions of dollars, the agency specifies.
Before Epstein, the property belonged to former Victoria's Secret head Leslie Wexner, who bought the building in 1989 and conducted a major renovation. Wexner himself reportedly purchased it for $13.2 million.
According to FBI data from July 2019, the symbolic purchase price of this building by Epstein was previously mentioned by Wexner's former bodyguard Richard Adrian. He did not specify the price. After the financier, accused of sexual crimes, passed away, the building was sold to new owners for $51 million.
New files related to the Epstein case were released by the U.S. Department of Justice in early 2026. They included personal correspondence, witness testimonies, and the total volume of these documents exceeded 3.5 million pages.
According to the Department of Justice, numerous politicians and major business figures are implicated in the rapes. The mention of U.S. President Donald Trump and his possible involvement in a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl particularly attracted public attention. Considering previously published data, the documents related to the financier now total 6 million pages.
