Psychologist: coffee lovers may not notice its negative impact on sleep.
A psychologist stated that frequent and uncontrolled consumption of coffee poses a high risk of falling into a dangerous health cycle. He warned coffee enthusiasts about this in an interview with Metropoles.
As the psychologist explained, if a person drinks a lot of coffee throughout the day, they often experience sleep problems. As a result, in the morning, due to insufficient nighttime rest, they feel fatigue, anxiety, and irritability, he added. To compensate for this, the next day the person drinks even more coffee.
"Sleep is essential for the balance of body and mind. Even if a person does not notice sleep problems, coffee can negatively affect the quality of their rest," the psychologist warned. In this regard, he advised against consuming the stimulating beverage at night.
