The famous producer is under sanctions, and now he is losing his job.
The development of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) is capable of displacing live music. This assumption was made by music producer Joseph Prigozhin.
He noted the growing popularity of synthetic voices and digital characters created using AI. The producer believes that technology can effectively imitate the sound of popular performers; however, artificial intelligence lacks the human energy and emotions necessary for true art.
— I can assume that in the near future there will be a stir around smart and singing machines that will temporarily replace live performers and perhaps even deceased artists, if there is such a need, — the producer noted.
Nevertheless, Prigozhin suggests that public interest in virtual musicians will soon wane, giving way to traditional forms of musical creativity, reports the Public News Service.
