The restrictions she had suffered from for so long in childhood turned into weight gain - Katya indulged her appetite. At 13, the girl faced criticism from strangers, after which she decided to go on a strict diet. As a result, she developed anorexia, followed by the onset of bulimia. To cope with this challenge, the artist's heiress sought help from her family.
During her month at the Institute of Nutrition, Ekaterina managed to rid herself of destructive habits. When it came to her future, the girl decided to follow in her mother's footsteps. She went to England to study acting, and when she returned home, she rejected her star surname in favor of "Lann." Lann ("lan" translates from Chinese as "blue") was a pseudonym chosen not by chance - the daughter of Dogileva had considered blue her favorite color since childhood.
"There is already one artist with the surname Dogileva in the country - and she is an amazing artist. That's enough... I couldn't choose it for a long time, I twisted pieces of names and surnames of relatives like a mosaic, combining them in different ways. And as a result of long searches, the combination 'Lann' was born. And then it turned out that 'lan' means 'blue' in Chinese. And that's my favorite color. In general, everything came full circle," the girl noted in one of her rare interviews.
As of today, Ekaterina Lann has roles in popular projects such as "Vampires of the Central Strip," "Second Marriage," "Games," and "Aurora." As for her personal life, the 30-year-old actress prefers not to discuss her romantic affairs. Whether she has a beloved man by her side, Ekaterina chooses to remain silent.
