The designer plans to prepare and create a new haute couture collection, launch a rebranding of the company, and a new line of clothing.

The daughter of designer Valentin Yudashkin, Galina, stated that her children are shy about speaking Russian. She shared this on the YouTube channel "Sveta Vokrug Sveta."

Recall that Galina Yudashkina moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2022. According to her, her children know Russian but are shy to speak it. However, the grandchildren of the famous designer know not only Russian and English but also Spanish and Chinese. Moreover, both of Galina Yudashkina's children attend a Russian school in Dubai.

"Initially, there was a story. We lived in Moscow and wanted them to know English. So the language became part of our daily life. Then we left. And it turned out that Russian is difficult for them. The older one, Tolia, has quite good Russian. He spent most of his time in Russia, while Arkasha has started to speak better," she said.

Earlier, Valentin Yudashkin's wife congratulated their daughter on her 35th birthday. The girl was born in Moscow at the end of 1990. Galina Yudashkina's childhood was spent in a luxurious yet creative environment. The house was frequently visited by people whose names and faces are known throughout Russia. Galina, by her own admission, had to prove to those around her that she was capable of something, and they expected more from her than from others. But such pressure fostered resilience and the ability to find different ways to overcome obstacles.

After graduating from an elite school in the capital, Galina went on to pursue higher education at Moscow State University. She chose the faculty of art history, while not forgetting her main passion — photography. After obtaining her degree from Moscow State University, Yudashkina went to New York, where she studied at the prestigious Parsons School of Design in design and photography courses.

Shortly after Galina returned from the USA, her biography was enriched with a new chapter: the young designer presented her own collection. It was a youth denim clothing line consisting of jackets, summer tops, and mini shorts.

Galina's loud debut was followed by a no less successful photography exhibition. She was able to refine her skills while studying at design courses in New York. Yudashkina interned at the famous fashion magazine Vogue.

The genre in which Galina worked was fashion photography. Her knowledge of fashion trends, the beauty industry, and a keen understanding of the fashion world were inherited from her father. Nevertheless, the girl also had her own understanding of design trends and artistic taste.

The exhibition was titled "I Don't Know Why." The photos presented to the visitors were taken by Yudashkina over several years. The collection included both staged photos and stylized vintage shots, as well as colorful costume scenes.

Galina gained authority as a photographer among show business stars, many considered it an honor to have photo sessions with her. For example, the daughter of the king of Russian fashion photographed "Miss World" Ksenia Sukhinova and rising star of Russian cinema Ivan Nikolaev.

After the birth of her first child, Galina Yudashkina took the position of art director at her father's Fashion House and continued to pursue photography. The celebrity worked until her second childbirth, managing to release the first children's clothing collection, Valentin Yudashkin Kids. The models went on sale in August, and the advertising photo shoot featured Garry and Lisa Galkin and the daughter of showman Alexander Revva, Amelie.

Galina was inspired to create clothing for children and teenagers by her own sons. After becoming a mother, the young woman noted that she did not find in stores the wardrobe items she wanted to see on her children. Besides external beauty, the fabrics and fittings in children's models are more important than in adults'. However, Yudashkin's clothing is primarily about luxury quality, which is by definition not cheap.

In the fall of 2018, father and daughter Yudashkin presented a new collection at Paris Fashion Week. Fans of the Russian couturier saw outfits adorned with flowers reminiscent of kimonos. According to Galina, this is how a woman should be: romantic, light, and effortless.

The beginning of 2020 marked a challenging period for Galina as it became known that her father was terminally ill.

After the Death of Valentin Yudashkin

The couturier passed away on May 2, 2023. The news of Valentin Abramovich's death was announced on the air of Channel One, referencing information from the designer's widow, Marina. Two days earlier, Yudashkina expressed her condolences regarding the passing of Vyacheslav Zaitsev. Two legendary Russian couturiers died two days apart.

In the fall, Galina gave an interview to Alena Zhigalova on the program "Alena, Blin!" in which she denied rumors about the arrest of the Fashion House's accounts. She noted that she continues to fly to Dubai, and if there were any unpaid debts, she would not be able to cross the border.

In the same year, 2023, Galina took the position of creative director of the fashion house after her father's death. This proved to be a challenging task, as in recent years, due to illness, her parent could no longer fully oversee the brand's activities. Together with her husband, Yudashkina reviewed the conceptual ideas of the House, sought to modernize the approach to creating models, and emphasized social media.

In interviews, Galina noted that the Yudashkin brand's products are particularly in demand in Arab countries, so she presented her debut collection as the new creative director of the House in November 2024 in Dubai. While creating the pieces, Yudashkina was inspired by the theme of St. Petersburg, thus preserving the "Russian line" that Valentin favored in his works. The color references for the dresses were the watercolors of artist Olga Kabayeva. The show itself took place in the format of an immersive fashion show, combining haute couture, cutting-edge technology, and contemporary music. A similar performance was held in Moscow at the art space Luminar-X.

Galina Yudashkina's Personal Life

Star children are doomed to increased media attention, including from the tabloid press. The daughter of the world-renowned couturier was no exception. In the spring of 2012, tabloids speculated about the relationship of the 21-year-old girl with millionaire Ruslan Fakhriev, who was four years older than Galina.

The romance developed quickly, but soon the young people parted ways.

Marriage to Petr Maksakov

The heiress of the fashion empire was not alone for long: Galina Yudashkina's personal life again became the center of discussion in the winter of 2014. The girl began dating a young man who could also confidently be classified as part of the golden youth. He is her peer, Petr Maksakov, the grandson of the People's Artist of Russia Lyudmila Maksakova and the great-grandson of the Soviet ambassador to America Anatoly Dobrynin.

The couple appeared happy and harmonious: against the backdrop of her tall partner, fragile Galina (who is about 155 cm tall) looked quite petite. The young people met in the spirit of the times: they connected on Facebook (the social network is banned in Russia and belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia), and the next day they went to a Vincent Van Gogh exhibition.

The wedding of the representatives of the two dynasties took place in the best traditions of the Russian elite. 500 distinguished guests gathered at the Gostiny Dvor, arriving from all over the world. Nikolai Baskov hosted the wedding, and the decorations for the ceremony were created by popular producer Alexander Dostman and the production company "Artes."

The bride's outfit, made of 40 meters of silk, took 9 months of work by Valentin Abramovich's atelier. The wedding dress, weighing 7 kg, was hand-embroidered using 34,000 pearls and 300,000 beads in the technology of the 19th century. Galina's head was adorned with a diadem of pearls and diamonds.

The jewelry house Alex B & I New York prepared two sets of wedding rings — for the civil ceremony and the church wedding. Moreover, Galina and Petr had already stamped their passports a year before the celebration and underwent the church sacrament.

Yudashkina's husband is a businessman who studied in England at Oundle College, where descendants of noble British families have been educated since the 16th century, then studied psychology at Durham University, and obtained an MBA from MGIMO. In addition to entrepreneurship, Petr took on the role of business consultant at his father-in-law's Fashion House, managing financial matters. International contacts and establishing communication with clients were also his responsibility.

In April 2016, the family welcomed their firstborn, named Anatoly in honor of his great-grandfather. Yudashkina decided to give birth in America and went there in the winter. Galina and Petr did not show their son to the public for a long time. However, the child's first public appearance was spectacular. In October 2017, the mother and her son appeared during the final parade of the Valentin Yudashkin collection presentation at Paris Fashion Week.

An article about the peculiarities of raising the Yudashkin heir with photos was published in the glossy magazine Tatler. Later, the publication appeared on the designer's official website. Valentin and Marina Yudashkina enthusiastically took on the upbringing of their grandson. The grandfather bought fashionable clothes for the firstborn from Hong Kong designers, while the grandmother grew strawberries and cucumbers for her grandson in the garden of their country house in Bakovka.

From an early age, the child learned to speak three languages. He communicates with his mother in Russian, with his father in English. A hired teacher taught the boy Chinese.

In October 2017, it became known that Valentin Yudashkin's daughter was pregnant again. The happy news was shared by the mother on her Instagram page. She gave birth to her son Arkadi also in America in March 2018. The grandparents noted in an interview that they would like their grandchildren, despite automatically obtaining American citizenship, to also be Russian.

A year later, Galina and her family moved to Hong Kong, and when the time came, the children went to Chinese school and preschool group, respectively. In July 2022, media reports emerged about the birth of a third child in the family of Galina and Petr. It was reported that Yudashkina gave birth to a daughter, Agatha-Ariella. The celebrity noted on social media that "during this pregnancy, I wanted silence, peace, and love."

Television

Galina's presence became more pronounced after her appearance in the second season of the reality show "Pregnant," which aired on the "Domashny" channel. The filming crew visited the USA, where the expectant mother prepared for childbirth. Participating in the show left Galina with pleasant impressions. The presence of cameras did not intimidate her, as she has lived under their gaze since childhood.

The entire Yudashkin family appeared in the 2019 program "When Everyone is Home," where they talked with Timur Kizyakov about everyday life and relationships, as well as reminisced about their ancestors.

Appearance

Galina's appearance has continued to interest the media since the star heiress first appeared in public. When Yudashkina was little, articles often appeared in the press where journalists debated who the child resembled more — her famous father or her mother. As the girl grew older, rumors circulated about plastic surgeries that the couturier's daughter had undergone. In 2012, photos surfaced online showing the Muscovite with noticeably fuller lips.

Galina herself did not hide the fact that she had undergone breast surgery, specifically mentioning the presence of implants on the show "Pregnant." Later, in interviews, Yudashkina emphasized that this did not prevent her from breastfeeding her firstborn.

Yudashkina maintains her figure by regularly visiting the gym and not indulging in unhealthy food. During her first pregnancy, the couturier's daughter gained 20 kg and was back in the gym just two weeks after giving birth. On her personal account, Galina posted photos from her workouts, demonstrating that her efforts were not in vain.

Now Galina, living between two cities — Dubai and Moscow — continues her creative activities, promoting the brand, and sharing news about upcoming projects with the public. In an interview with the publication, the designer mentioned that she will be busy launching a new summer capsule in the boutique this spring and summer. Galina is also planning to prepare and create a new haute couture collection, launch a rebranding of the company, and a new line of clothing available in the mid-price segment.

In early April, Galina appeared with her husband and mother Marina Yudashkina in an episode of Ksenia Sobchak's program "Caution, Sobchak!" During the conversation, Yudashkina discussed her vision for the House's work in the near future. When asked if the brand plans to collaborate with any young talented designer who could "shake up" Yudashkin with creative ideas, similar to what Demna Gvasalia did for "Balenciaga," the couturier's daughter noted that this is possible, but in the mass-market line they plan to launch soon.

During the interview, the question of inheritance arose. Sobchak noted that, unlike the Zaitsev family, everything went quietly and peacefully for the Yudashkins. Galina shared that her parents, when it became known about Valentin's illness, agreed to transfer all rights to the brand to her.
