Igor Krutoy's ban will put an end to the artist's concert activities.

2025 has become a year for Alla Pugacheva's family that has definitively buried the hopes of relatives for a secure future. The escape from their homeland, public anger, lack of success abroad, and the ban on composer Igor Krutoy singing his songs — what blows has the clan faced during this time?

For her and her family, the last few years have been a time of constant and significant losses — both reputational and financial.

This year, one of her closest friends, who helped the Pugachevs earn and thrive, composer and producer Igor Krutoy, turned away from her.

The eldest daughter of the former Primadonna — Kristina Orbakaite — moved to the USA, where she has a new husband, expensive real estate, and no prospects for earning and a creative career. This is evidenced by the half-empty and empty halls in American cities where the singer performed.

Until recently, Orbakaite was not too concerned about this, as her main income came from the Russia she left and the Russian-speaking post-Soviet space. However, last year, the Russian tours of Pugacheva's heiress ended almost as soon as they began: she was booed at her very first performance in St. Petersburg, after which she was removed from the list of artists performing at the festive concert in the Kremlin, and subsequently, events in other Russian cities were canceled.

After this failure, Orbakaite even publicly said goodbye to her homeland from the USA, stating that she would return there someday in the next life. And then new troubles followed: in 2025, she was banned from coming to Latvia, and concerts in her native Lithuania were canceled. The local authorities suddenly became concerned about the question of who the singer is with: the West or Russia?

At the same time, the Baltics have traditionally been a place of income for the Pugacheva family. In recent years, they have had the most devoted and grateful audience here.

The most terrible thing for Orbakaite seems to have happened this summer: Igor Krutoy, a longtime friend and associate of Pugacheva, who once called her his little daughter, unexpectedly banned Kristina Orbakaite from singing his songs.

The blow is extremely sensitive. The singer's repertoire largely consists of his hits — and their absence in the concert program puts a cross on the career of the ex-Primadonna's daughter, essentially depriving her of income from foreign tours.

The fact that the situation is indeed dire is indicated by the angry remark of the president of the "Russian Media Group," the organizer of the "Golden Gramophone" award and a longtime defender of Pugacheva, Vladimir Kiselev.

— Mr. Krutoy announced that he is taking away songs from Orbakaite. Apparently, Alla Borisovna said something wrong. This is absolutely unmanly, — stated Kiselev.

By the way, the situation with her grandson — 34-year-old Nikita Presnyakov, who lives in the USA — indirectly indicates that things are not going well for Pugacheva's descendants.

Recently, his father and Orbakaite's first husband, Vladimir Presnyakov, announced that his son would soon return to Russia. He is still not here because he is allegedly tied to some contract. This statement is unexpected, as just recently Presnyakov Jr. was unsuccessfully trying to sell the mansion on the Istra River left to him by his grandmother.
