Little is known about the actress's personal life. She previously dated Chris Hemsworth, Adrian Grenier, and musician Angus Stone. She announced her relationship with the child's father, Cyrus Sutton, only in August of this year.

Isabel Lucas was born on January 29, 1985, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Her father is Australian, and her mother is Swiss. At the age of 6, Isabel moved to Switzerland with her family for a year. After returning to Australia, she graduated from Abir High School with her sister, where both Europeans and Aboriginal children studied. Isabel then studied drama at the Victorian College of the Arts and the Queensland University of Technology. In 2008, she moved to Los Angeles.
