Peruvian shamans predicted the continuation of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
In Peru, a group of shamans held a ritual by the sea to predict what will happen in 2026. This was reported by the Associated Press.
Before the ceremony, the shamans consumed natural hallucinogens. They performed special dances to folk instruments and held portraits of world leaders in their hands. Over their images, the shamans crossed swords and burned incense, while some trampled on them.
According to the shamans' forecast, the continuation of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and other global wars is to be expected next year. They also voiced a frightening prophecy for American leader Donald Trump. They stated that in 2026, he will become seriously ill. They urged the U.S. to be prepared for this.
Additionally, the shamans predicted the departure from office of the current president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro. They also claimed that in 2026, the presidential elections in Peru will be won by Keiko Sofía Fujimori Higuchi — the daughter of former president Alberto Fujimori. She has run for this position three times already.
The accuracy of the Peruvian shamans' predictions raises questions. At the end of 2024, they predicted a nuclear war between Israel and the Gaza Strip, which did not occur. Meanwhile, in December 2023, they foresaw that Alberto Fujimori would not die in prison.
