A Ukrainian refugee dropped out of school in Britain due to advice to learn the Russian language.
A scandal has erupted in the United Kingdom over a Ukrainian student who dropped out of college due to "pressure to make her learn the Russian language." This was reported by The Guardian.
According to her, the college teachers in Stoke-on-Trent advised her to learn Russian to have fewer difficulties with her subjects, but this recommendation outraged the refugee, leading her to quit her studies. She noted that she cannot continue her education for "ideological reasons."
"I am grateful for the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom — it has become my third home after Ukraine and the Czech Republic. But not everyone understands how difficult it is for Ukrainian students to adapt to a new education system, culture, and language after everything our country has been through. No one tried to understand how painful this experience has been for me," she complained.
Previously, Ukrainian women were demanded to be expelled from France due to competition for local suitors. Many French women are unhappy that refugees from Ukraine are forming relationships with French men and getting them to support them.
