The 45-year-old grandson of the People's Artist of the USSR has not abandoned his ex-wife.
The graduate of the "Star Factory" has maintained a friendly relationship with his ex-wife Natalia Gorchakova. However, Stas Piekha's heir cannot always rely on a parent whose "fatherly reservoir" is limited, as he himself did not really know his father.
Jazz musician Piatras Gerulis left the family when Stas was still very young. The man visited his heir only from time to time, coming to see his son from Vilnius every few months. "I just grew up without parents," once blurted out the grandson of the legendary singer Edita Piekha.
For this reason, the vocalist is convinced that he does not participate in the upbringing of his only child, Peter. When Stas divorced his wife, Gorchakova moved to the suburbs of St. Petersburg. Naturally, the distance also played a role in the relationship between the close people.
It is worth noting that the vocalist consistently supports his ex-wife and heir financially. Moreover, Piekha appears in Peter's life when extraordinary circumstances require it. In total, the grandson and great-grandson of Edita Stanislavovna see each other several times a year.
"Our relationship is better now than when we were husband and wife. I do not participate globally in Peter's life. I am like a crisis manager. When the 'bells' ring and it smells like smoke — then I appear. When there is an opportunity, we meet. Overall, I do not take any part in Peter's upbringing. Financially, I participate well in his life," the singer admitted in a conversation with Natalia Podolskaya during her show "Your Natasha."
