The 63-year-old singer, producer, choirmaster, and showman had a dispute with representatives of the airline. Mikhail Turetsky sarcastically stated that for money, the painting "decreased in size."
"The Turetsky Choir" gave a concert in Samara the day before. After the performance, the musicians went to the airport to fly to St. Petersburg. That's where the scandal occurred.
Representatives of Smartavia airline did not allow Mikhail Turetsky to take a painting on the plane that was gifted to his group by fans. One of the musicians pointed out that they were allowed through at the check-in desk without any issues. However, at the boarding gate, a woman stopped the singers. "File a complaint against the airport. I don't know how you got this through," she said.
Mikhail Borisovich was outraged by the words of the airline representative. "Smartavia is a bunch of marauders! They are charging 5700 rubles (60 euros) for a painting that was gifted to the legendary choir, just to bring it on the plane," said the People's Artist of Russia.
Smartavia responded that their rules are the same for everyone and the painting did not meet the allowable dimensions. Turetsky was offered to pay for carry-on luggage, which he did. "For money, the painting immediately decreases in size. Smartavia loves money very much," concluded the participant of the show "Two Stars. Fathers and Children." He published a video of the incident on his personal blog.

Heirs" shared how she was conned by fraudsters. "I was just under some kind of hypnosis! I feel incredibly ashamed, I feel like such an idiot, I don't even understand how I could believe this and fall for it," noted Emmanuelle.
