What Were Ozzy Osbourne's Last Words to His Wife Before His Death

Sharon Osbourne spoke about the last words her husband Ozzy said before his death.

"He was going to the bathroom all night, and at 4:30 in the morning, he turned to me and said, 'Wake up.' And I replied, 'I’m already awake, damn it, you woke me up,'" recalled the widow in an episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored.

"And he said, 'Kiss me.' Then he added, 'Hold me tighter,'" Sharon said with a trembling voice.

73-year-old Osbourne blames herself: "If only I had told him I loved him even more. If only I had held him tighter."

The next morning, Ozzy went downstairs to work out — 20 minutes before he died.

"They tried to resuscitate him, and I was pleading, 'No, just leave him. Leave him. You won’t help. He’s gone.' Then he was taken by helicopter to the hospital, and they continued attempts, but ultimately they pronounced him dead: 'He’s gone. Let him go,'" Sharon added.

Osbourne admitted that her husband was ready for death — he spoke about strange dreams he had in the last weeks.

"He saw people he had never known. I asked, 'Who are these people?' He replied, 'All sorts. I just keep walking, and every night I see different people, and then I go back there and look at them, and they look at me, and no one says anything.' He was ready," Sharon shared.

Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76 — nearly five years after he announced his battle with Parkinson's disease. Two weeks before his death, the musician held a farewell concert in Birmingham — a ten-hour show dedicated to his legacy, featuring Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and Jack Black.
