Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Made Charity a Family Tradition

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have involved their children in volunteer work for the first time, turning participation in charitable initiatives into a family project. The Sussexes, along with Archie and Lilibet, joined an initiative aimed at helping people experiencing food shortages.

The family visited the Our Big Kitchen volunteer kitchen in Los Angeles, where they participated in preparing and packaging food for those in need. In the photos published by Archewell, Meghan and Harry can be seen working together with the children: Lilibet observes the process of spreading dough onto a baking sheet, while Archie helps roll the dough in powdered sugar and cinnamon.

Meghan shared the photos and called the family's participation in the project an inspiring experience. The Duchess noted that such activities help children understand the value of things and labor. Earlier, in the Aspire podcast, she mentioned that she tries to instill practicality and respect for food in Archie and Lilibet — including through gardening, which teaches patience and mindfulness.

"Express yourself, do good," Meghan wrote in the blog, emphasizing the importance of the family's involvement in helping others.
