Ну чем они не пара.

"Due to the situation in the country," the singer and the public figure do not intend to hold lavish celebrations.

Recently, the honored artist of Russia, Yaroslav Dronov, turned 34 years old. The singer celebrated his birthday on stage at the Kremlin Palace alongside his newlywed wife, Ekaterina Mizulina.

Before going on stage, Yaroslav Dronov, performing under the pseudonym SHAMAN, managed to talk to journalists. It turned out in this conversation that the artist's beloved does not plan to change her last name. This decision was completely mutual and did not cause any disputes in the family.

At the same time, Ekaterina Mizulina (a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, head of the "League of Safe Internet") also made it clear that the public can breathe easy and stop guessing when the wedding banquet of the newlyweds will take place. Due to the situation in the country, the singer and the public figure do not intend to hold lavish celebrations. As soon as the opportunity arises, the lovebirds will simply arrange a family dinner, about which, of course, they will not write anything in the press.

"Guys, the situation is not right for celebrating any holidays widely. We just decided so," Mizulina concluded.

Continuing the topic of the last name, Yaroslav Dronov could not resist making a joke, and also gave a rather detailed comment on this matter. The artist reminded that this way he and his wife will avoid inconveniences, including changing documents. At the same time, both his last name and his beloved's last name are considered recognized brands by the performer of the hits "Vstanem" and "Samyy Russkiy Khit."

On March 17, 2023, the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs imposed sanctions against Dronov, banning him from entering the country among Russian cultural figures who supported the war in Ukraine. On July 20, Dronov was included in Canada's sanctions list against "individuals using their art to promote the invasion." Previously, Dronov was included in the list of corrupt officials and war instigators by FBK for his active support of the war.

On June 24, 2024, Dronov was included in the sanctions list of the European Union.

Since the beginning of Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine, he has repeatedly participated in concerts organized by the Kremlin, including anniversary events dedicated to the war, and has performed in illegally occupied regions of Ukraine, including at events for the Armed Forces of Russia. Thus, Yaroslav Dronov supports actions and policies that undermine the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine — "Official Journal of the European Union," Brussels, June 24, 2024.

On July 4, 2024, after an appeal to Google by the Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission demanding the removal of accounts of individuals included in EU sanctions lists, YouTube blocked the singer's official channel, which had 2.78 million subscribers at the time of the block. Previously, Dronov's page and tracks were removed from the streaming service Spotify.

On February 25, 2025, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced a suspicion against Dronov for committing a crime under Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code (justification of Russian aggression against Ukraine). According to the investigation, Dronov "publicly supports and promotes Russia's war against Ukraine," as well as "glorifies" participants in the attack on Ukraine.

On June 26, 2025, Dronov was sanctioned by Australia "to hold Russia accountable for the illegal invasion of Ukraine."
