Traveling the world travel blogger Tim, an Irishman with Russian-Armenian roots, lived in China for two months and spoke about the high level of security in this country.
“China is a country where the security system works better than my own alarm clock. Cameras are everywhere: on the streets, in shops, in residential areas. And not just for show, like in some countries, but for a purpose. Locals really get used to the fact that any action leaves a trace,” Tim described his experience with such phrases.
The author of the publication admitted that China is safer than most countries in the world he has been to. According to him, you can leave your phone charging in a café, walk away, and calmly pick it up after returning.
Tim added that petty thefts have almost disappeared in the Middle Kingdom, but intellectual copying he called a national sport of the Chinese.
“Your business plan can be stolen. Your style can be stolen. Your idea on the marketplace can be sold for five times less than you conceived it just two days later. So the Chinese don’t steal your bag. They steal your essence,” concluded the traveler.
