Traumatologist: Delayed treatment of angina threatens arthritis.
Some diseases can provoke the development of arthritis, warned traumatologist Ibrahim Abakarov.
The doctor clarified that some types of arthritis develop as a reaction to a past infection, such as angina, urogenital, and intestinal diseases. Abakarov emphasized that for this reason, it is very important to treat them in a timely manner.
The traumatologist explained that in these diseases, the body, defending itself against microbes, produces antibodies. "They can mistakenly attack the body's own joint tissues, leading to inflammation," the doctor explained.
Previously, an orthopedic traumatologist stated that a waddling gait, where a person sways from side to side, may indicate weakness in the pelvic and thigh muscles or pathologies of the hip joints — for example, arthrosis.
