Gurchenko's widower Senin is forced to rent accommodation and pay off a loan.
The widower of actress Lyudmila Gurchenko, producer and director Sergey Senin, has been left without an apartment and with a loan after the actress passed away. Now, the star's last husband is forced to rent accommodation, according to media reports.
Senin gave Gurchenko's apartment in Trekhprudny Lane in Moscow to be used as a museum, while the actress's country house went to her daughter Maria's family. "Maria's family claimed rights to the inheritance. It was necessary to sell and divide, including the apartment. To preserve our home with Lyusya and the furnishings in it, I gave the other side the dacha and a cash payment. I am still paying off the loan for that cash payment," Senin shared.
As a result, the apartment where Gurchenko lived in her last years has been preserved in its original condition and made accessible to fans. Senin himself has not lived there for 12 years and is renting an apartment.
