The main musical event of the year is approaching — the Recording Academy has published the full list of nominees for Grammy 2026. The absolute leader is Kendrick Lamar, who received nine nominations, including "Album of the Year" and "Song of the Year."

The current list of contenders for the prestigious award features the brightest representatives of the modern scene — from Lady Gaga and Sabrina Carpenter to Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber, and Tyler, the Creator. The 68th awards ceremony will take place on February 1, 2026, in Los Angeles, and, according to the organizers, it will be one of the largest in Grammy history.

"We aim to show how music is changing and how different its voice has become in the world," noted Academy representatives at the nominees presentation.


Leaders of Nominations

Kendrick Lamar has become the triumph of the season, receiving nine nominations, including:

  • "Album of the Year" — GNX
  • "Song of the Year" — Luther (with SZA)

Lady Gaga has seven nominations, and her album Mayhem is already being called one of the main contenders for victory by critics. Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, and Justin Bieber are recognized in six categories, while Billie Eilish and Tyler, the Creator are nominated in five.
