In the UK, a boy lost his arm in his mother's womb.

In the British county of Durham, a boy lost his arm in his mother's womb. This was reported by the Independent.

The child's parents, 30-year-old Tom Noble and 33-year-old Faith Richmond, learned about a rare congenital anomaly during a routine ultrasound at 15 weeks of pregnancy. They were informed that the baby was developing without a left hand due to a condition known as amniotic band syndrome. According to the medical report, the fibrous tissue of the amniotic sac lost its elasticity and constricted the fetus's limb, resulting in spontaneous amputation of the arm right in the mother's womb.

The parents of the baby, whom they named Ezra, note that despite the congenital feature, their son was born happy and healthy. "We don't want what happened to his arm to stop him from doing anything or striving for anything. I am sure that its absence will not hold him back," said the child's father.
