Peter I and Syphilis
Polish historian Kazimir Waliszewski claimed that Peter died from kidney failure caused by syphilis. Soviet researchers supported the version that the emperor was treated in Holland, but the disease was not completely cured. Catherine II and Vaginal Bleeding
