The Indonesian police have launched an investigation into actress Larisa Guzeeva in connection with a fraud case related to the sale of villas in Bali. According to the investigation, Guzeeva may have been an accomplice in the scheme.
Last summer, the actress was accused of participating in the advertising of villas that buyers never received along with the money they paid for them.
The main suspect is businessman Sergey Domogatsky, who organized the sale of real estate. The police believe that Guzeeva may have been aware of the fraud while participating in the advertising campaign.
The actress herself has so far refused to comment on the situation. Recently, she expressed dissatisfaction with Lera Kudryavtseva, who aired a report about the investigation on her show.
According to the investigation, more than 60 people have already accused Domogatsky. The total damage is estimated at 31 billion rubles. According to the victims, the businessman sold the same villas to different buyers without being their owner and even staged his own kidnapping to hide the missing money.
