After recent health issues that led to the postponement of two scheduled concerts featuring maestro Raimonds Pauls at the Daile Music House, the composer is gradually starting to recover.
“Where does the Maestro draw energy and inspiration now? Of course, at the piano!” wrote journalist Arnis Krauze on Instagram, posting a video of Pauls playing alongside pianist Matis Žilinskis.
Fans in the comments wish the maestro a speedy recovery: Inga is happy that “the Maestro shares his presence and allows the young master to enjoy his talent,” while Mairita noted that it turned into a “magnificent duet.”
Krauze also shared that Raimonds Pauls has returned to the stage with artists such as Ance Krauze, Georges Siksna, Zigfrīds Muktapavels, and Margarita Vilcāne. “When we invited Raimonds Pauls to come to our project ‘DiviKrauzes,’ I didn’t believe the Maestro would agree. He agreed immediately. The audience, the stage, and the performers of his songs are the source of the Maestro’s strength,” the journalist said.
“It was so special to see the Master at the piano again after a short recovery break. Wishing him good health!” added Krauze.

Earlier it was reported that the concert “Vīrieši labākos gados” (“Men in Their Prime”) featuring Raimonds Pauls and Andris Keišs, scheduled for the first half of October at the Daile Music House, was canceled. Last week it became known that the performance “Šekspīrs. Soneti. Pauls | Busulis | Keišs,” originally planned for October 16, has also been postponed. It will now take place on November 8 at 18:00, and all previously purchased tickets remain valid.
Given the public's concern about the maestro's health, the portal Jauns.lv contacted the director of the Daile Music House, Anda Zadovska, who reassured fans: “It’s autumn now and the season of viruses. The Maestro is just a little under the weather. He is a person of respectable age, so let’s treat this with respect.” Zadovska emphasized that the performances are not canceled, but only postponed, and urged the audience to remain calm and look forward to meeting the Maestro.
