Producer: Barbara Brylska requested a fee of one and a half million dollars.
Producer Leonid Dziunik revealed that Polish actress Barbara Brylska enjoyed special favor from the authorities and received impressive sums for her film roles — around $1.5 million, which is comparable to the fees of Hollywood stars.
As an example, Dziunik cited the failed 2005 project — the film 'Where Per Noël Lives.' Pierre Richard and Barbara Brylska were invited for the lead roles.
"She requested a fee of one and a half million dollars. And while we were willing to pay that much to Richard, we were not for her. As a result, the project was initially frozen, even though the script had already been written. Then it was ultimately not made at all," the producer said.
