Former footballer and style icon Sir David Beckham has created a true oasis of comfort and tranquility in his country home in the Cotswolds, writes the Daily Mail. When he was a child, the only purpose of his small garden was to kick a ball—the dream of playing for the England national team was paramount.

Now, nine years after purchasing the house with his wife Victoria, David grows radishes, carrots, cabbage, and onions in the garden, as well as raising chickens and bees. Roses for Victoria and their daughter Harper bloom here. David connects his gardening activities with his maternal grandfather, who instilled this interest in him.

The garden is surrounded by wooden pathways, lavender, and a large pond with a duck house, creating an atmosphere of tranquility, while the vegetable patch is enclosed by a white wooden fence. In addition to the garden, the expansive grounds feature a swimming pool, a soccer field, a children's treehouse, and a modern sauna.

During the 2020 quarantine period, the family fully appreciated the estate's possibilities, deciding to grow their own vegetables and keep chickens to completely supply themselves with fresh produce. This garden has become not only a source of joy for Beckham but also an important source of peace of mind, which he particularly values when away from home.

The garden and house in the Cotswolds have become a true refuge for the Beckham family—a place to relax, enjoy nature, and spend time with loved ones, as confirmed by a recent photoshoot for Country Life magazine, which showcased the interiors and his garden in detail for the first time.

This corner of nature and home comfort has become a symbol for Sir David of what he did not have in his childhood but was able to create for his family now.
