Ace Frehley, the guitarist of the American rock band "Kiss," has died at the age of 74, his family announced, according to LETA citing AFP.
Frehley passed away at his home in Morristown, New Jersey, USA. Family members were by his side at the time of his death.
Along with bassist Gene Simmons, vocalist Paul Stanley, and drummer Peter Criss, Frehley founded the band "Kiss" in 1973.
He left the group in 1982.
Later, Frehley continued his career as a solo artist and formed the band "Frehley’s Comet."
In the mid-1990s, he returned to "Kiss" for six years.
