At 58, Philip made a grand gesture.

It has been more than six months since the beloved father of Philip Kirkorov, Bedros, passed away. The father of the pop king died of a heart failure on March 18 at the age of 93. The artist has two apartments in Moscow on Zemlyanoy Val and a house in Bulgaria. The only heir to date is 58-year-old Philip Kirkorov, who, however, has not yet claimed his inheritance.

Additionally, a couple of years before his death, Bedros Kirkorov divorced his second wife, Lyudmila Smirnova, with whom he had been married for over 20 years. The couple had a house in the Novgorod region. After the divorce, it went to Lyudmila. However, Smirnova died three months before Bedros himself.

Some media outlets reported that the only heir, Philip Kirkorov, is in no hurry to claim his rights due to the fact that there are debts left after Bedros' death. Allegedly, a lawsuit was filed against him on behalf of the Federal Tax Service.

The situation was clarified by the artist's lawyer, Alexander Dobrovinsky.

"This is Philip Kirkorov's decision. This is his personal life and his relationship with his beloved father. At Bedros' memorial, which I attended, Philip said, in my opinion, the most important thing: 'The most important inheritance from my father is the memory of the brightest and most noble person I have known in my life. And my father could not leave anything greater behind.' There were tears in everyone's eyes," Alexander Dobrovinsky told KP.RU.

It should be noted that Philip and Bedros were very close. They celebrated all holidays and birthdays together. Bedros lived to a respectable age and suffered from health problems in the last few years. According to Kirkorov, he understood that the end was near, but still, his father's death was a blow to him.

The pensioner died from severe complications caused by pneumonia, which his heart could not handle. Doctors diagnosed him with bilateral pneumonia, edema, and removed about a liter of accumulated fluid.

It also turned out that Kirkorov Sr. neglected the prescribed treatment, trusting the advice of a caregiver. The woman insisted on the benefits of Tibetan medicine. However, herbs, warming treatments, massages, and leeches only worsened the already fragile health of the elderly man.

In addition to other issues, Bedros Filippovich had a severe form of heart failure and ischemic disease. Examinations also revealed a brain disease.
