The artist, who passed away in 2009, has faced similar accusations multiple times.
The name of Michael Jackson is once again at the center of a high-profile investigation. The Casio family has filed a police report, claiming that the singer engaged in abusive actions against five children over a span of 25 years.
The case documents state that the artist allegedly "psychologically groomed and manipulated" the children, instilling in each of them that they were special to him. These allegations have sparked widespread public interest, as one of the plaintiffs, Frank Casio, was long considered a close friend of Jackson. Previously, he not only defended the singer during scandals but also wrote a book titled "My Friend Michael" about him.
According to British media, similar accusations from the family were made in 2020. At that time, unofficial reports suggested that the parties had reached an agreement, and the Casio family received £13 million in exchange for dropping the lawsuit.
Now, however, the relatives claim that the deal at that time was made under pressure. In the new lawsuit, they are seeking compensation of £160 million.
So far, representatives of Jackson's heirs have not provided official comments. However, the singer's lawyers have previously emphasized that all such allegations are aimed solely at gaining profit and lack evidentiary support.
