Even a stadium full of fans chanting his name does not work as a distraction.

The legend of British pop music, Robbie Williams, has revealed a serious illness. The former Take That frontman disclosed that he has Tourette syndrome — a neurological disorder characterized by motor and vocal tics.

"I realized I have Tourette syndrome, and it doesn't go away. I was just walking down the road the other day and realized that these intrusive thoughts fall within the Tourette system. They just don't come out," the singer told the Daily Mail.

According to Robbie, even a stadium full of fans chanting his name does not work as a distraction. Over time, Williams has developed a fear of live performances, despite being able to control the manifestations of the disorder.

"I have a very complicated relationship with touring and live performances. People ask, 'Oh, are you going on tour? You must be excited.' Not really. I'm just terrified!" the artist shared.

Robbie admitted that he puts on a mask of bravado and confidence to hide his fear. However, inside, a real storm is raging.
