The plot centers around an aging Robin Hood, played by Hugh Jackman. His character has long lost the romantic aura of a people's protector and appears as a man worn down by years of violence, battles, and his own mistakes. After a severe injury, he finds himself on the brink of death and meets a mysterious woman, played by Jodie Comer. This encounter forces the hero to confront his past once again.
Particular attention has been drawn to Jackman's new look. For the role, the actor drastically changed his appearance: he grew long gray hair and a thick beard. Many are already comparing his character to the aging Logan from the film "Logan" and even to Geralt from the "The Witcher" universe.
