Bella Hadid is preparing to release her first book – a memoir titled Between Us. The publication is timed to her 30th birthday and will be released in collaboration with Rizzoli.
The model worked on the book with photographer Yasmin Diba – a close friend who has documented her life since her teenage years. The project is based on archival photographs, many of which are published for the first time, as well as Hadid's personal notes.
Between Us is structured as a visual and emotional diary: from childhood in Malibu to becoming one of the most recognizable models of her generation. Unlike classic glossy albums, the book emphasizes an informal, almost intimate perspective – without polished gloss and the usual industrial distance.
Particular attention in the memoir is given to personal themes. Hadid speaks about family, inner growth, and mental health, as well as touching on her experience living with a chronic illness – Lyme disease, which she has been living with since 2012.
The book is already available for pre-order and will be released on October 6.
