On April 23, at the Zuzeum Art Museum, art historian Janis Borgs will introduce the audience to the era in which Andy Warhol lived, as well as provide an in-depth analysis of his work and enigmatic personality.
Andy Warhol is a pop culture icon, one of the central figures of pop art from the 1960s to the 1980s. He was an artist, music producer, manager, and 'underground' filmmaker, whose works and life in general made him a global phenomenon of mass culture.
In the lectures by art historian, critic, and designer Janis Borgs, complex ideas become understandable, and the history of art becomes engaging and alive.
