The new train will provide regular service between Cesis and the Rakši Zoo during the active tourist season.
The owner of the Rakši Zoo, Kristaps Blaus, believes that such transportation is an important step in the company's development, as it has long wanted to simplify the delivery from Cesis to the Rakši Zoo.
According to information from the "Firmas.lv" website, the turnover of the Rakši IGIL in 2024 amounted to 876,883 euros, with a profit of 274,277 euros. The company was founded in 2009, and its share capital is 2,846 euros. The company belongs to Kristaps Blaus.
The Rakši Zoo is one of the largest exotic animal parks in the Baltic States, located near Cesis. The park is home to over 200 animals, including camels, llamas, and lemurs.
