Kirsten Dunst will join Sidney Sweeney in the sequel to the thriller 'The Maid' produced by Lionsgate, reports Deadline.
Filming for the movie titled 'The Maid's Secrets', based on the second part of Frieda McFadden's book trilogy, will begin in late 2026. The plot follows Millie (Sweeney) who takes a job with a woman she is forbidden to see and uncovers the truth behind a locked door, hiding secrets far darker than her own.
The direction is handled by Paul Feig, who directed the first installment. In addition to Sweeney, another member of the original cast, Michele Morrone, is confirmed. 'The Maid' managed to earn around $400 million at the global box office.
