French actors have joined the cast of the new season of Mike White's show.
The creator of the acclaimed series 'The White Lotus,' Mike White, continues to expand the geography and cast of his satirical show. It has been announced that the upcoming fourth season will feature three prominent representatives of the French film industry: the legendary Vincent Cassel ('Beauty and the Beast') and rising stars Corentin Fila ('Fashion House') and Nadia Tereshkova ('My Crime').
In the fourth season, set in Europe on the French Riviera, viewers will be transported to a luxurious hotel in the 'White Lotus' chain (the historic palace hotel Chateau de La Messardiere in Saint-Tropez), where a drama involving guests and staff will unfold over the course of a week.
For Vincent Cassel, participating in 'The White Lotus' will mark his return to HBO after his role in the futuristic western 'Westworld.' Alongside Fila and Tereshkova, he will likely portray a local resident or hotel employee. If the speculation is correct, the trio will continue the proud tradition of previous seasons, where resort staff became the true highlights of the plot. One only needs to recall the charismatic manager played by Murray Bartlett in the first season, the unforgettable Italian character Sabrina Impacciatore in the second, or K-Pop group member Lisa Manoban in the third.
The new actors will join previously confirmed cast members Helena Bonham Carter, Steve Coogan, Sandra Bernhard, Arianne Graynor, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, AJ Michalka, Caleb John Edwards, and Marissa Long.
