The Art Directors Guild Recognized 'Frankenstein' as the Best Historical Film

The 30th Art Directors Guild Awards ceremony took place in Los Angeles, where the gothic drama 'Frankenstein' was recognized in the category of 'Outstanding Production Design in a Historical Film.'

The film directed by Guillermo del Toro received recognition from the professional community for its meticulously crafted visual concept. The lead role in the project was played by Jacob Elordi. The award was presented to production designer Tamara Deverell, whose work was noted for creating an atmospheric and historically accurate screen space.

Previously, the film had already received recognition in relevant nominations at the BAFTA and Critics' Choice Awards. Winning at the ADG Awards is traditionally seen as an important indicator ahead of the Oscars, especially in technical categories.

Other nominations at the awards also highlighted notable projects of the season. In the 'Contemporary Film' category, the film 'Battle for Battle' won with the work of production designer Florencia Martin. The best in the fantasy genre was recognized as the film 'Fantastic Four: First Steps,' which surpassed competitors including the new film in the Avatar franchise and the musical 'Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz.'

The results of the anniversary ceremony confirmed the industry's high interest in visual solutions and the artistic design of projects, while 'Frankenstein' solidified its position among the main contenders of the awards season.
