Timothée Chalamet shared his impressions of the upcoming sequel 'Dune,' directed by Denis Villeneuve. In an interview with actor Matthew McConaughey, organized by Variety and CNN, Chalamet mentioned that he approached his role as something 'sacred.'
"I didn’t want to relax for a second. It was all sacred, as this is my last time participating in the film," the actor noted. He also shared that he worked on the film with double the effort, as audiences could relax, having grown accustomed to the predictability of events.
The events of the third 'Dune' take place 12 years after the second film, and a Holy War is underway in the world. Chalamet's character faces the necessity of making complex and fateful decisions.
The world premiere of 'Dune' will take place on December 16, 2026.
